We’re 5 days into the Make 100 Tart 14 Variant Kickstarter campaign. That may seem to you like you have all the time in the world to back, but we’re only running this one for 17 days. So we’re coming around the bend on the first lap of a three-lap pod race.
If this is the first time you’ve heard of the campaign we are running, we have to do this because all of our existing Tart 14 stock arrived too damaged to sell (we were fortunate and ecstatic to have enough in good condition to fulfill our Kickstarter obligations).
It always stinks when something arrives in a condition it can not be sold. But it sucks doubly so when those copies were meant to be part of our Catch Up Tier.
Without Tart 14, I can’t rightly offer Tart 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15 to readers who want to catch up in the future.
73 backers have already put us in position to print 100 copies of this variant with their support. If you want to join them, the link is:

Of those 73 backers 44 have chosen to call shotgun on a copy of the variant. Now you are probably thinking, 44 of 100 copies… I can grab one of these covers whenever I want.
To fully stock our Catch Up tiers, I should have 45 copies of -A- variant of Tart 14 to add to the catch up tier. 44+45=89. There are actually only 11 spots left to guarantee you ownership of this cover.
Now, if we get crazy and sell over 70 of the Make 100 covers, I may have a problem. As I can not ethically print over 100 issues of this cover. But what a great problem to have.
I have a Plan B in case we get there, but I’ll bother you with that plan when we need it.
For now, if you are a completionist, I recommend getting in. If variant covers aren’t your thing, no sweat from us. But we’d always appreciate you telling a friend about us (I especially like new readers to try out the Appetizer Tier where they get the first for chapters of our story in physical form, and the entire digital library to read everything we’ve done for only $30).

I hope you have a great rest of your weekend.
